Amer Almasri vs Hassan Arshad

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Zafa Jappa Gym, Cairo,  taking place on 26/09/2023:

Clearly AI Egypt-Cairo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Almasri (5 - 6 - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Hassan Arshad(1 - 6 - 2) from Cairo, Egypt.  Almasri weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Arshad weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Atif Elgheriany, and the three ringside judges are Atif Adel, Atif Charobim and Umair Hamed.  

Round 1: 

Arshad sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Almasri lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Arshad advances into close range.  Almasri throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Almasri holds on to his opponent.  Almasri pushes his forearm into Arshad's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Almasri switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Almasri hits home with an overhand right.  
Almasri is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Arshad is on target with a cross.  
Arshad lands a left uppercut.  Almasri holds on to his opponent.  Arshad is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arshad throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Almasri's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Almasri is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.
