Quico Astacio vs Xalvador Nagtalon

Boxing Daily Report from the Maghakian Promotions promoted show at Antonio Omaga Gym, Lapu-Lapu,  taking place on 28/09/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quico Astacio (6 - 4 - 2) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Xalvador Nagtalon(5 - 6 - 1) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Astacio weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nagtalon weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Olvera, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Larez, Stuart Magpatoc and Stuart Magpatoc.  

Round 1: 

Nagtalon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Astacio throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Nagtalon time to recover.

Astacio hits home with a left hook.  Astacio ties up his opponent.  Nagtalon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Astacio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Astacio.
