Waleed Alturk vs Rashid Ataya

Boxing Daily Report from the Mayat Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Kateb, Jeddah,  taking place on 30/09/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia-West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Alturk (9(1) - 3 - 2) who hails from Medina, Saudi Arabia and Rashid Ataya(11 - 2(1) - 1) from Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  Both Alturk and Ataya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Maron, and the three ringside judges are Rashid Basha, Hassan Nagi and Bilal Khalil.
