Jonathan Cloete vs Shevon Molekane

Boxing Daily Report from the Ebrahimian Promotions promoted show at Durban Mahlobo, Durban,  taking place on 02/10/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jonathan Cloete (9 - 3) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Shevon Molekane(10 - 2) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Cloete and Molekane weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thamsanqa Mbeki, and the three ringside judges are Steven De Lange, Ollie Rensburg and Khalon Cardoso.
