George Mortimer vs Bryan Trench

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Dave Emond Gym, Perth,  taking place on 14/10/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Mortimer (6 - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Bryan Trench(3 - 7 - 5) from Perth, Australia.  Both Mortimer and Trench weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacNab, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banis, Matt Dickins and John Drummond.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mortimer.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
