Ashley Birrell vs Michael Samson

Boxing Daily Report from the Asamoah Promotions promoted show at Montreal Damita, Montreal,  taking place on 16/10/2023:

Clearly Asamoah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Birrell (9 - 3) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Michael Samson(4 - 8 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Birrell and Samson weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Gerard Segalen and Henry Popkin.
