Li-Liang Xiang vs Shing Shiu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Zhu Ing Gym, Nanjing,  taking place on 16/10/2023:

Clearly AI China-Jiangsu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Li-Liang Xiang (7 - 6 - 2 - 1(NC)) who hails from Nanjing, China and Shing Shiu(5 - 5 - 2) from Changzhou, China.  Both Xiang and Shiu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chen Lien, and the three ringside judges are Dewei Fu, Shing Teo and Wang Chiew.  

Round 1: 

Xiang attempts to land a jab, but Shiu sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Xiang advances into close range.  Shiu is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Xiang dabs at his face checking for damage.
