Xalvador Baca vs Montel Mestas

Boxing Daily Report from the Rumfa Promotions promoted show at Buenaventura Aleman, Buenaventura,  taking place on 16/10/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Baca (11 - 0) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Montel Mestas(10 - 3 - 2) from Cali, Colombia.  Baca weighed in at 245 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mestas weighed in at 259 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Toscano, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Luz, Alejandro Gordon and Fraco Solar.
