Xalvador Clavel vs Diego Sanches

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Havana promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 16/10/2023:

Clearly AI Cuba-Havana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xalvador Clavel (6 - 7 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Diego Sanches(5 - 5 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Clavel and Sanches weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Amaro, and the three ringside judges are Federico Bracero, Ponce Cortina and Diego Villas.  

Round 1: 

Sanches lands a left hook.  
Sanches pivots from in front of his opponent.  Clavel lands a jab.

Sanches cuts off the ring, trapping Clavel in the corner.  As Clavel tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sanches dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sanches finds the target with a jab.  
Sanches is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.
