Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 17/10/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Carballo (3 - 0 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Alvino Armijo(8(1) - 4 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Carballo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Armijo weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Lujano, Rodrigo Fanta and Diego Vegas.
