Alfonso Lanza vs Ponce Garcia

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Astudillo, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 17/10/2023:

Clearly Mufwembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Lanza (10 - 5) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Ponce Garcia(9 - 1) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Lanza and Garcia weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Arguijo, and the three ringside judges are Javier Renteria, Joaquin Onate and Carlos Acosta.
