Gabriel Montalvo vs Montel Minjarez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 18/10/2023:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gabriel Montalvo (10 - 0) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Montel Minjarez(11 - 1(1)) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Montalvo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Minjarez weighed in at 146 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Flores, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Sevilla, Rodrigo Franco and Juan Alvarez.
