Alen Panyin vs Lloyd Mensah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Greater Accra promoted show at Max Moyoyo Gym, Accra,  taking place on 20/10/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alen Panyin (10 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Lloyd Mensah(12 - 5) from Tamale, Ghana.  Panyin weighed in at 135 pounds, while Mensah weighed in at 134 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Akoto, and the three ringside judges are Joe Kessels, Nabulung Berko and Kabonero Gyimah.  

Round 1: 

Panyin closes the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Panyin ties up his opponent.  Panyin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Panyin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Panyin to stop fouling.
