Giomar Gessel vs Ringling Stricker

Boxing Daily Report from the Anfom Promotions promoted show at Munich Stoltz, Munich,  taking place on 20/10/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-Bavaria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giomar Gessel (12 - 1) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Ringling Stricker(9 - 3(1) - 3) from Regensburg, Germany.  Both Gessel and Stricker weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reamonn Dade, and the three ringside judges are Archard Labus, Rodman Markt and Wendell Jahr.  

Round 1: 

Gessel throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gessel hits home with a cross.  
Gessel lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Stricker steps inside.  Gessel connects with a left hook.  
Gessel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Stricker walks Gessel down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gessel wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Stricker dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gessel tries to keep the action at long range.  Stricker contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Gessel lands a cross.  
Gessel pivots to the right of his opponent.  Stricker drives a left uppercut into Gessel's liver.
