Rush Paquin vs Gareth Becotte

Boxing Daily Report from the Mini Promotions promoted show at Beau Montand Gym, Delmas,  taking place on 21/10/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Haiti-Ouest Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rush Paquin (7 - 7) who hails from Carrefour, Haiti and Gareth Becotte(8 - 0) from Delmas, Haiti.  Both Paquin and Becotte weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guy Dewaere, and the three ringside judges are Byron Jadin, Cade Giraudoux and Hackett Baze.  

Round 1: 

Becotte advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Paquin slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
