Silvano Angeli vs Silvestro Cossutta

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Carlo Giovinco Gym, Palermo,  taking place on 22/10/2023:

Clearly Sikatana Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Silvano Angeli (8 - 5 - 2) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Silvestro Cossutta(4 - 4 - 3) from Messina, Italy.  Both Angeli and Cossutta weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cristiano Donadoni, and the three ringside judges are Luca Catanoso, Rodolfo Candreva and Luca Catanoso.  

Round 1: 

Cossutta lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.

Angeli steps away from his opponent.  Cossutta attempts to land a cross, but Angeli slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
