Charles Irungu vs Sam Ageyo

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/10/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charles Irungu (9 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Sam Ageyo(11 - 3(2) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Irungu weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ageyo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Chelangat, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Sam Waiyaki and Nathan Andersson.
