Nao Okubo vs Iwao Ishibashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at San-rifure Hakodate, Hakodate,  taking place on 25/10/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nao Okubo (10 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Sakai, Japan and Iwao Ishibashi(10 - 2) from Asahikawa, Japan.  Okubo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ishibashi weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kaneko, Isamu Hara and Kaede Takenaka.
