Xavion Mero vs Guillermo Posada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Auditorio Plaza Condesa, Mexico City,  taking place on 26/10/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavion Mero (9 - 2) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Guillermo Posada(13 - 1) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Mero weighed in at 200 pounds, while Posada weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luis Rico, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Lugo, Angel Salamanca and Gonzalo Barillas.
