Quico Almonte vs Fidel Villalpando

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Yepes, Montevideo,  taking place on 03/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico Almonte (13 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Fidel Villalpando(6 - 4) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Almonte and Villalpando weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Enriques, and the three ringside judges are Jair Mayor, Iago Ramon and Juan Jacinto.  

Round 1:
