Premnath Chohan vs Shen Zhang

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Rooq Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 30/10/2023:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Premnath Chohan (0 - 0) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Shen Zhang(0 - 2 - 2) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Chohan and Zhang weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tariq Ahmed, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Sinai, Azam Asmar and Rehman Saadeh.  

Round 1: 

Chohan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chohan throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  Chohan holds on to his opponent.  Chohan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chohan about fouling.

Zhang tries to land a cross, but Chohan slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
