Waqar Qasim vs Syed Pirani

Boxing Daily Report from the Boye Promotions promoted show at Zafa Khan Gym, Mashhad,  taking place on 21/11/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Qasim (5 - 6 - 1) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Syed Pirani(12 - 1) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Qasim and Pirani weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Atif Bangura, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Baig, Kashif Greiss and Faisal Leghari.  

Round 1: 

Pirani hits home with a cross.  
Pirani advances into close range and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Qasim throws a left hook, but Pirani holds on to his opponent.  Pirani pushes his forearm into Qasim's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pirani.
