Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 04/11/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brad Eidson (0 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Seth McCollister(1 - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Eidson and McCollister weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Elgin, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Ghiglia, Giorgio Lombardo and Hugh Durie.  

Round 1: 

Eidson drives a left hook into McCollister's liver.  Eidson ties up his opponent.  Eidson pushes his forearm into McCollister's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Eidson about fouling.  
Eidson throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Eidson clinches his opponent.  Eidson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Eidson throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Eidson's body.  
Eidson forces McCollister to retreat onto the ropes.  McCollister tries to land a left uppercut, but Eidson dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Eidson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to McCollister's liver.  
Eidson gets on the inside.  McCollister throws a right hook, but Eidson clinches his opponent.  Eidson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Eidson steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
