Jordan Asuncion vs Scott Redpath

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Gethin Caspari Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 06/11/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jordan Asuncion (0 - 0) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Scott Redpath(0 - 1 - 1) from Lakewood, USA.  Both Asuncion and Redpath weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Streblow, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Cullen, Zachary Mattus and David Scholar.  

Round 1: 

Asuncion gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  Asuncion ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Asuncion pushes his forearm into Redpath's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Asuncion about fouling.  
Asuncion lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Asuncion holds on to his opponent.  Asuncion leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Asuncion walks Redpath down, trapping him in a corner.  Redpath throws a right hook, but Asuncion holds on to his opponent.  Asuncion throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Asuncion drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Asuncion lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Redpath is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Redpath dabs at his face checking for damage.

Asuncion digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Asuncion lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Asuncion is looking to close the distance.  Redpath pivots from in front of his opponent.  Asuncion digs in a right hook to Redpath's body.  
Asuncion gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Redpath.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Asuncion lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Asuncion clinches his opponent.  The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Asuncion to stop holding.
