Josef Kobza vs AntonÝn Chvala

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Chivalry Vanier Gym, Bratislava,  taking place on 12/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Josef Kobza (0 - 0) who hails from Bratislava, Slovakia and AntonÝn Chvala(1 - 2) from Ostrava, Czech Republic.  Kobza weighed in at 135 pounds, while Chvala weighed in at 134 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Bayard, and the three ringside judges are Sennett Savane, Franklin Djiby and Mallory Mbow.  

Round 1: 

Kobza gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to Chvala's ribcage.  
Kobza is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kobza lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Kobza gets on the inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
Kobza lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Kobza lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kobza is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Kobza attempts to land a left hook, but Chvala blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chvala pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kobza is on target with a right uppercut.  Kobza holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kobza pushes his forearm into Chvala's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kobza about fouling.  
Kobza advances into close range and forces Chvala to retreat into the corner.  Kobza pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Kobza goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Chvala's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kobza lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kobza lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Kobza clinches his opponent.  Kobza leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kobza lands a left hook.  Kobza ties up his opponent.  Kobza is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kobza to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chvala's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Chvala's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Chvala's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Chvala's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Kobza gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Chvala's body.  
Kobza lands a sharp cross.  
Kobza lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kobza advances into close range.  Chvala pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kobza lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Kobza digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Kobza throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kobza advances into close range and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Kobza lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Kobza wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chvala dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Chvala.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Kobza closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Kobza digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Kobza hits home with a left hook.  
Chvala tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kobza lands a jab.
