Vico Lisi vs Dino Ghezzi

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at JSW Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 13/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Vico Lisi (0 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Dino Ghezzi(2 - 2) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Lisi weighed in at 129 pounds and 6 ounces, while Ghezzi weighed in at 129 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Hadjinyan, and the three ringside judges are Steven Malas, James Christou and Joey Mahtesyan.  

Round 1: 

Ghezzi closes the distance.  Ghezzi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ghezzi throws a right uppercut, but Lisi ties up his opponent.  Lisi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Lisi and breaks the clinch.  
Lisi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Lisi ties up his opponent.  Ghezzi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lisi's kidney. 
Lisi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Lisi is looking to close the distance.  Lisi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lisi manouvers Ghezzi into a corner.  Lisi is on target with a right hook.  
Lisi steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Lisi lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Lisi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lisi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lisi digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lisi is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Lisi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ghezzi dabs at his face checking for damage.
