Danny Baba vs Sammy Mbabazi

Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Azad, Kampala,  taking place on 10/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Uganda-Kampala District Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Baba (7 - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Sammy Mbabazi(11 - 5) from Kampala, Uganda.  Baba weighed in at 168 pounds, while Mbabazi weighed in at 167 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Akello, and the three ringside judges are James Bourdillon, Geoff Inzikuru and Shontae Batuma.  

Round 1: 

Baba lands a jab.
