Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Smoking Gym, Los Angeles,  taking place on 29/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are David Spade (0 - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Mel Cole(2 - 1 - 2) from San Diego, USA.  Both Spade and Cole weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Salido, and the three ringside judges are Ian Lin, John Vaughn and Paul Herring.  

Round 1:

Spade gets on the inside.  Spade quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cole throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Spade digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Spade sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Spade gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Spade cuts off the ring, trapping Cole on the ropes.  Spade lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Spade lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
