Shinji Nakao vs Jun Kobashigawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Fukuyama Okazaki, Fukuyama,  taking place on 13/11/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Shinji Nakao (0 - 0) who hails from Kawaguchi, Japan and Jun Kobashigawa(0 - 0 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Nakao and Kobashigawa weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Hironaka, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Nakata, Satoru Fukuda and Yoshi Kawakami.  

Round 1: 

Kobashigawa attempts to land a cross, but Nakao blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Nakao throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Nakao holds on to his opponent.  Nakao leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nakao lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Nakao finds the target with a jab.  
Nakao walks Kobashigawa down, trapping him in the red corner.  Nakao lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Nakao gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Nakao holds on to his opponent.  Nakao leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Nakao hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Nakao.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
