Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at African Gym, Johannesburg,  taking place on 08/11/2023:

Clearly African Fusion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Vashon Magqwaka (0 - 0) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Gethin Phiri(4 - 0) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Magqwaka weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces, while Phiri weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mzikayise Tlolane, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, Xhosas Kwadwo and Lemme Van der Linde.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Phiri.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
