Andre Faye vs Granville Belisle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Diourbel promoted show at Varil Doumbia Gym, Diourbel,  taking place on 30/11/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Andre Faye (7 - 2 - 1) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Granville Belisle(4 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Faye and Belisle weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Oltz, and the three ringside judges are Larrimore Hippe, Damien Carol and Giles Thiam.  

Round 1: 

Belisle digs in a right hook to Faye's body.  Belisle ties up his opponent.  Belisle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Belisle pushes his forearm into Faye's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Belisle.
