Johnny Downie vs Robert Latta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Rhode Island promoted show at James Meggett Gym, Providence,  taking place on 13/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Colorado Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Johnny Downie (5 - 5 - 2) who hails from Denver, USA and Robert Latta(4 - 10 - 3) from Aurora, USA.  Both Downie and Latta weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Arran Huntress, Stuart Grieve and Dom Kilgour.  

Round 1: 

Downie feints a left, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Downie switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.
