Timofei Starasts vs Luka Blusinsh

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Riga Gaishais, Riga,  taking place on 18/11/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Timofei Starasts (0 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Luka Blusinsh(1 - 7 - 2) from Riga, Latvia.  Starasts weighed in at 167 pounds and 2 ounces, while Blusinsh weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Akitis, and the three ringside judges are Melor Rags, Ivan Prusis and Melor Lipskis.

Starasts closes the distance.  Blusinsh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Starasts drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Starasts holds on to his opponent.  Starasts is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Starasts digs in a right hook to Blusinsh's ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Starasts has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
