Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 01/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dembe Khuzwayo (10 - 0 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Thabang Lakay(7 - 4 - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Khuzwayo and Lakay weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Pienaar, and the three ringside judges are Asavela Sikali, Xhosas Kwadwo and Luvolwethu Khumalo.
