Jack Blandon vs Teague Mellis

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Memorial Civic Auditorium, Stockton,  taking place on 29/12/2023:

Clearly AL Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Blandon (11(6) - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Teague Mellis(14 - 2(1)) from Athens, Greece.  Both Blandon and Mellis weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dylan Waddell, and the three ringside judges are Joey Catherwood, Michael Thomason and John Gourley.  

Round 1: 

Blandon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Mellis is looking to close the distance.  Blandon is on target with a firm right hook.  
Blandon tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp overhand right.
