Scott Nyagumbo vs Jamie Nkala

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Mbare Netball Complex, Harare,  taking place on 21/11/2023:

Clearly Harare Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Scott Nyagumbo (0 - 0) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Jamie Nkala(7 - 7) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Nyagumbo weighed in at 241 pounds and 4 ounces, while Nkala weighed in at 245 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Mataz, and the three ringside judges are Jack Feamster, Jack Feamster and Edward Chung.  

Round 1: 

Nyagumbo advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nkala's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Nkala's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Nyagumbo gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but Nkala dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Nkala attempts to land a jab, but Nyagumbo parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nkala leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Nyagumbo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Nkala.  Nyagumbo is on target with a right hook.

Nyagumbo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nyagumbo hits home with a right hook.  Nyagumbo clinches his opponent.  Nyagumbo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nkala's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nkala's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Nyagumbo gets on the inside.  Nyagumbo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nyagumbo connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nkala dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nyagumbo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nyagumbo throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nyagumbo pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Nyagumbo is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.
