Sutherland Moe vs Leif Oftedahl

Boxing Daily Report from the Valhalla promotions promoted show at Grand Hotel Oslo, Oslo,  taking place on 02/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Sutherland Moe (1 - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Leif Oftedahl(0 - 8 - 2) from Oslo, Norway.  Moe weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces, while Oftedahl weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sindri Lysne, and the three ringside judges are Sindri Ruud, Gunnar Berdahl and Sigurd Myhr.  

Round 1: 

Moe is on target with a right hook to Oftedahl's body.

Moe pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Moe is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Moe finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Oftedahl connects with a right hook.  
Moe steps inside.  Moe pivots to the left of his opponent.  Oftedahl throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Moe leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Oftedahl is whaling away with hooks, but Moe keeps his defence tight.  
Moe is on target with a left uppercut to Oftedahl's body.  
Moe advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Moe hits home with a sharp jab.  
Moe lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Oftedahl switches the action to the outside.  Moe hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Moe steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Moe throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moe advances into close range.  Oftedahl lands a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Moe's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Oftedahl's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
