Boyce Gieringer vs Lubor Kolis

Boxing Daily Report from the Howes Promotions promoted show at Howes Gym, Munich,  taking place on 18/11/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Boyce Gieringer (0 - 0) who hails from Cologne, Germany and Lubor Kolis(2 - 11) from Plzen, Czech Republic.  Both Gieringer and Kolis weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maximilian Berth, and the three ringside judges are Rodman Markt, Bertram Stockner and Reamonn Dade.  

Round 1: 

Gieringer pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.

Gieringer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kolis attempts to land a right hook, but Gieringer parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gieringer closes the distance.  Gieringer pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kolis's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kolis's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kolis's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
