Jeffrey Nys vs Paris Kouyate

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Wigwam Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 26/11/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Joltin’ Jeffrey Nys (1 - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Paris Kouyate(1 - 2 - 1) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Nys and Kouyate weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valentin Gasson, and the three ringside judges are Forrest Coly, Sezni Beal and Audric Trzeguet.  

Round 1: 

Nys pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nys lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Nys clinches his opponent.  Nys is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Nys and breaks the clinch.  As Nys tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kouyate dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nys walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Nys drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Nys holds on to his opponent.  Nys throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nys.  
Nys lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Nys clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kouyate pushes his forearm into Nys's face.  The referee warns Kouyate and breaks the clinch.  
Nys sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nys is on target with a left hook.  
Nys lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nys walks Kouyate down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Nys is on target with a right hook.  
Nys closes the distance.  Nys pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Kouyate's body.

Nys lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Nys holds on to his opponent.  Nys leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nys gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Kouyate throws a right hook, but Nys clinches his opponent.  Nys leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
