Federico Orona vs Santiago Cayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Asante Promotions promoted show at Manuel Alberto Gym, Maracaibo,  taking place on 12/12/2023:

Clearly Asante Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Federico Orona (6 - 4 - 3) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Santiago Cayo(5 - 7 - 2 - 1(NC)) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Orona and Cayo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Rayo, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Pupo, Alvino Tardio and Sagaz Escalera.
