Oqtay Babayev vs Nusrat Shahverdiev

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Qadir Bakhlulov Gym, Sumqayit,  taking place on 14/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oqtay Babayev (9 - 2) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Nusrat Shahverdiev(6 - 4 - 2) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Babayev weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces, while Shahverdiev weighed in at 121 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shamil Abdurrahmirov, and the three ringside judges are Mammad Akbarov, Israfil Hajiyev and Alekber Ameen.
