Rory Roche vs Sid Fitzsimmons

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Hull City Hall, Hull,  taking place on 06/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rory Roche (14(2) - 0) who hails from Tallaght, Ireland and Sid Fitzsimmons(4 - 2 - 1) from Newark, USA.  Roche weighed in at 140 pounds, while Fitzsimmons weighed in at 139 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Munhall, and the three ringside judges are Justin Donne, Rob Apted and Gyn Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

Roche backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Fitzsimmons throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Fitzsimmons pivots to the left of his opponent.  Roche lands a jab.
