Owen Mewies vs Mark Gam

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Copper Box Arena, London,  taking place on 23/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Southern England Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Mewies (5 - 1) who hails from Bristol, UK and Mark Gam(4 - 1 - 1) from London, UK.  Mewies weighed in at 122 pounds, while Gam weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Hector, and the three ringside judges are Richie Harp, Clint Irvine and Owen Pugh.
