Sam Wallander vs Jordan Craigen

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Gethin Caspari Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 30/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Sam Wallander (0 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Jordan Craigen(0 - 0) from Lincoln, USA.  Wallander weighed in at 135 pounds, while Craigen weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harry Streblow, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Cullen, Greg Pelle and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Craigen pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wallander hits home with a left uppercut.  
Wallander advances into close range and lands a left hook.

Wallander gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Wallander holds on to his opponent.  Wallander leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wallander is looking to close the distance.  Wallander pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Craigen's body.  
Wallander feints a left, and then lands a cross.  
Wallander sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Craigen is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wallander lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Wallander throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craigen's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Craigen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Wallander is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Craigen steps away from his opponent.  Wallander lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Wallander connects with a cross.  
Wallander is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Craigen tries to step out of his opponents range.  Wallander lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Wallander lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.
