Gethin James vs James Leva

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Ten Gym, Hull,  taking place on 24/11/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Gethin James (0 - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and James Leva(0 - 1 - 1) from Plymouth, UK.  James weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Leva weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryn Dunn, and the three ringside judges are Russell Gwilym, Jamie McNabb and Gyn Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

James closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
James advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

He lectures James about fouling.  As Leva tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as James dabs at his face checking for damage.  
James advances into close range.  James sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to Leva's body.

James walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  James lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  James clinches his opponent.  James is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
James digs in a right hook to Leva's body.  
James lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.

James sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to Leva's body.  
James is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  James clinches his opponent.  James tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Leva behind the head. The referee warns James and breaks the clinch.
