Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at JSW Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 11/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Matt MacGibbon (1 - 0) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Callum Garis(1 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both MacGibbon and Garis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Mun, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Stronach, Euan Kier and Abdul Sabir.

MacGibbon tries to land a jab, but Garis dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
MacGibbon hits home with a right uppercut.

Garis gets on the inside.  MacGibbon pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
MacGibbon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
MacGibbon is on target with a jab.  
MacGibbon advances into close range.  MacGibbon pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
MacGibbon lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
MacGibbon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Garis throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives MacGibbon time to recover.

MacGibbon is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
MacGibbon tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  MacGibbon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
