Mitsuru Araya vs Ichiro Hirayama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Ueno, Sapporo,  taking place on 01/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Hokkaido Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Araya (12 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ichiro Hirayama(7 - 5 - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Araya and Hirayama weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Koyanagi, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Uno, Goro Horie and Takeo Okubo.
