Juan Mazo vs Guido Velasco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Pesina, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 21/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Honduras-Cortes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Mazo (5 - 1) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Guido Velasco(7 - 3 - 2) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Both Mazo and Velasco weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Cruce, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Adan, Sagaz Hernandez and Montel Gutierrez.
