Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 02/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are David Edwards (2 - 0) who hails from London, UK and John McBain(6 - 1) from London, UK.  Edwards weighed in at 129 pounds and 9 ounces, while McBain weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Heriot, and the three ringside judges are Bart McPhee, Harvey McIver and Robert Llewellyn.  

Round 1: 

Edwards is looking to close the distance and manouvers McBain into a corner.  Edwards lands a left hook.

Edwards switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  Edwards throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Edwards gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Edwards lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Edwards gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to McBain's ribcage.  
Edwards is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Edwards steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
