Stephen McTaggart vs Fedir Chunko

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Hull City Hall, Hull,  taking place on 06/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Stephen McTaggart (1 - 0) who hails from Wolverhampton, UK and Fedir Chunko(2 - 11 - 3) from Minsk, Belarus.  McTaggart weighed in at 147 pounds, while Chunko weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Justin Donne, and the three ringside judges are Michael Munhall, Rob Apted and Gyn Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

McTaggart gets on the inside.  McTaggart pivots to the left of his opponent.  Chunko throws a right uppercut, but McTaggart clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, McTaggart pushes his forearm into Chunko's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McTaggart.  
McTaggart lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chunko is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McTaggart lands with a stinging jab.  
Chunko attempts to land a cross, but McTaggart sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Chunko is looking to keep his distance and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McTaggart hits home with a firm cross.  
Chunko is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McTaggart finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
McTaggart sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
McTaggart cuts off the ring, trapping Chunko in a corner.  McTaggart pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McTaggart feints a right hook, and then lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.  
McTaggart drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Chunko is on target with a jab.  
McTaggart steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chunko's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Chunko's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Chunko's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Round 2: 

McTaggart walks Chunko onto the ropes.  McTaggart lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McTaggart pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Chunko is looking to keep his distance.  McTaggart lands a stinging jab.  McTaggart attempts to land a cross, but Chunko sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McTaggart steps inside.  McTaggart pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McTaggart lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McTaggart lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  McTaggart ties up his opponent.  McTaggart tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chunko's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McTaggart advances into close range.  McTaggart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
McTaggart forces Chunko to retreat into the corner.  McTaggart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
McTaggart hits home with a solid right hook.  
McTaggart lands a left hook.  
McTaggart walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  McTaggart pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.
